I Will Always Be Your Number 2 Supporter

Number 2 Suppporter - that's me! 

We have been blessed with 4 incredible children, all of whom happen to be boys and I absolutely wouldn't change a thing! 

We have spent the better part of the last 10 years on the sidelines at football cheering on our boys. I grew up running around the Alberton Oval so football is part of my DNA. Both my mum and dad have always been very vocal football supporters, so it's second nature to me to be the same way... ahem LOL

I get quite animated watching the football and some would say quite vocal, but I promise you it's in a good way. I cheer our boys and their team on so hard. Sometimes I hurt my throat and come away a little bit husky from their big games.

I refer to myself as their number 1 supporter, not just in football but in life. I want to celebrate them and all that they bring into the world. They are completely amazing humans and I'm still so surprised we have been blessed with these wonderful humans as our children. I love them dearly and fiercely. 

The boys always write really beautiful mothers day cards and something I look forward to so very much. One year, our eldest wrote a beautiful verse in my card which I thought read "Thank you for always being our number 2 supporter" It didn't. It actually read number 1 supporter. But ever since reading the card out loud, number 2 has stuck with me. 

Number 2 supporter is a hand painted and created, mixed media abstract artwork made in stunning South Australia.

Our boys are the thing I am most proud of, they will always be my most spectacular creation. I couldn't be prouder of them and love the young men that they are becoming. I believe in them every day that they can set the world on fire. Our boys absolutely make our world a much better place. 

This piece is a celebration of endurance, side splitting laughter and a big touch of sass but a lifetime and abundance of joy, happiness and love. When I look at this painting, it just makes me smile big. Just like I do when I look at our boys.
