Sarah and Josh was my first wedding back for the 2011 / 2012 wedding season. I was a little bit nervous and a lot excited! I couldn’t believe how quickly this wedding season skipped around and there is always a part of me that panics when I haven’t shot a wedding for more than a few weeks…….. what if I forget what to do!!!!
Joshua proposed to Sarah by leading her on a treasure hunt to one of their special places, really epitomises the kind of relationship that this beautiful couple have. There is a certain sort of nose crinkling magic that takes place with these guys and it was so lovely to witness them falling in love all over again on their wedding day.
Sarah’s day began with a surprise gift from Josh. It was an Ipad complete with short video and love note…… sigh

Sarah’s vision for their wedding was a classic garden party with a champaign and white colour theme and the perfect venue for such an affair could only be Carrick Hill.

Simple glass jars wrapped with twine and filled with white flowers were suspended from white americana chairs to create the aisle.

The below image is an incredibly special moment for Sarah. When we met last week, she explained to me how her family didn’t have one photo of her grandmother and that the only request of me on her wedding day was to try and get an image of her with her grand mother. Sarah’s grandmother is incredibly reluctant (insert will not) to have her photo taken. I’m pleased to say that I have a lovely image of Sarah with her grandparents on her wedding day and that special image has been reserved just for her but I couldn’t help but share the below image that I took after the “official” image. Sometimes you just can’t put a price on capturing the ones you love.

The tennis court area was converted into a sophisticated chill out area by Sash Events. Guests were indulged with live accoustic music, lawn games, a fully stocked bar with circulating tapas…… bliss!

Reception decorating and flowers were created by Sam from Fabulous Functions.

Congratulations again guys. I wish you every happiness in the world and a journey filled with beautiful memories as you walk hand in hand through life together.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful day with me.
Much love

Beautiful Emma,
As we speak Josh and I are sitting in our hotel room in Phuket – coincidentally on my new iPad! (I caved and bought him one 2 days after the wedding so we have a matching pair) What a treat to see these pictures on our first night here, I can not begin to descibe how big my smile is – nose crinkle and all!
Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly.
