Prue & Toby, a Fairy Tale Wedding

Where to begin…. shall we start with Ten long years ago this beautiful couple met whilst studying and finally decided to plan one of the most sophisticated weddings I have ever seen!  On Saturday the very lovely Lia Hayes and I went for a drive and found ourselves stepping into what can only be described as a fairy tale wedding (ESPECIALLY if you are a wedding photographer).

I no longer believe in six degrees of separation, in fact, I think that us folk in lovely SA have managed to whittle it down to maybe two degrees of separation! I kid you not. Lia and I arrived at The Kirsche @ Charles Melton to be greeted by Miss Prue wrapped in a bath towel and looking ridiculously gorgeous already! In we go, only for me to start squealing as I realise that Prues Made of Honour Sarah, is a long lost former work colleague of mine! Further into the day, it’s revealed that one of Prue’s bridesmaids Ness, works with my mum and Prue’s family are friends with family friends of Lia’s! The mind boggles!

Anyway, I digress.  Lia and I were clambering to get our hands on what we know will be an absolutely stunning dress, gorgeous shoes and beautiful accessories, well we were right! Prue’s silk gown was designed by Alexis George, Prue’s mother Jenny wore a fabulous Carla Zampatti dress suit, the bridesmaids dresses were hand made from the finest of silks…. did I say this wedding was a fairy tale….  Texture and Hue bridal studio did an absolutely beautiful job with the girls hair and makeup and Chill Flowers certainly know how to throw together a fabulous bouquet and corsage!

After taking in all the beauty at the Kirche, we headed over to the Novotel where the boys were prepping themselves for the day. Let me just say that Tobias and his men were not to be outdone by the girls in the fashion stakes!  Tailor made pin striped suits, silk ties that were matched perfectly (good job Toby) to the silk dresses, cufflinks, handmade shoes it goes on and on and on!

I’m sure I could probably write a novel about this particular wedding and the love that is very apparent between Prue and Toby. You guys planned an amazing AMAZING day.  The attention to detail and immense planning were just mind blowing. The location Winery in the spectacular Barossa, everything really did add up to a ridiculously good looking wedding!

Prue and Toby, may your fairy tale  beginning continue, may the magic on your wedding day bring a twinkle to your eye for many years and may you love each other completely just as you did on Saturday for the rest of your lives.  Thank you so much for allowing me to witness such a moving and breathtakingly beautiful day.

I hope the images below tell a far better story than me! Enjoy your sneak peek.

Much love
