Welcome to my photography blog!

I’m a mother, wife, photographer, big dreamer, lover of food, passionate about life, creative, business woman and I like to think, fun! I’m a terrible sentimentalist and this I assume, is why I love carrying around a camera.

I love my family, my three men are more than everything to me and I’m incredibly blessed to share my life and love with these three beautiful souls. I love George Michael, Elvis, Jamiroquai pretty much music in general. I would love to be a backup singer in a band when I grow up or even just play the tambourine… LOL I also love to dance!

I’m a completely self taught natural light photographer. What does this mean you ask? It means, where possible I will source and utilise natural light and reflectors before I turn to a flash gun!

I like my images to be bright, bold and clean. I love colour, I love people who make me laugh, laugh at themselves and people in love! I love it when people think outside the square. I also love it when a bride and groom meet prior to their ceremony...

I love hot chocolate, ice-cream and mud cake are my weakness (I definitely have two stomaches, one for mains and one for desserts), I’m not tech savvy and more often than not I don’t like change! I absolutely LOVE the Television show Offspring (and secretly wish I was Nina), I love Greys Anatomy and even True Blood but detest Vampire or scary movies .... LOL.

I have the best circle of friends in the world, they make me laugh and cry and have been incredibly supportive over the years. I would be lost without them.

I’m loyal, honest and humble. I’m just a girl with a camera and I love what I do.

Adam and Sarah

Over the labour day long weekend I had the pleasure of joining Karalee from Angelsmith Photography to photograph the wedding of Adam and Sarah. The sun was shining and the scene had been set for a wowser of a wedding!

Sarah’s Nonna was just beautiful. In typical Italian fashion she was trying to feed us up (and eveyone else) and bless her, as I was snapping away with the family photos she says to me in her stern Nonna voice “Emma, you call your husband to check on the baby?”! How cute is that, I couldn’t help but giggle, I love Italian weddings.

Sarah and Adam, you were surrounded by beautiful, joyous people on your wedding day. May they continue to surround you as you both journey through life together. You have truly beautiful family and friends.
